Huchuy Qosqo Hike 2 days 1 night
The 2-day, 1-night Huchuy Qosqo Peru Hike is one of the most popular treks among our travelers after the Inca Trail. You will have the opportunity to explore the flora and fauna of the area, as well as discover the Inca walls that hold the history of the Huchuy Qosqo Inca culture. If you have excellent physical condition, we recommend this trek to Huchuy Qosqo in the Valle Sagrado.

Itinerary:
Machu Picchu Peru Tours company will pick you up from your accommodations around 6:00 am to drive to the archaeological complex of Tambomachay, our starting point for the hike.
On this day, we will have a 7-hour hike until we reach Pucamarca, which is 3150 meters above sea level.
During our walk, we will observe a picturesque and beautiful Andean landscape with its crops of potatoes, beans, and different tubers.
We will also pass by two beautiful lakes, Suyllo Cocha and Qori Cocha, where it is possible to observe ducks, seagulls, Andean geese, and a great diversity of highland birds. We will take the chance to watch camelids such as llamas, alpacas, cows, and sheep that are grazed by the local communities throughout the mountains.
We will continue following the river until we reach the archaeological park of Pucamarca (3150m), where our cook will be waiting for us with a delicious buffet lunch and our tents to spend our first night.
After lunch, we will visit the Inca walls in the archaeological complex. Finally, dinner and overnight stay.
On this day, we will wake up at 7:00 a.m. to enjoy our breakfast, and then we will continue our trek for two hours until we reach Huchuy Qosqo, Peru.
This hike will take us through an impressive canyon with wooden bridges. As we progress, we will be able to observe the terraces of Huchuy Qosqo, Peru.
Upon arriving at Huchuy Qosqo, Peru, our tour guide will explain the archaeological site and the Inca culture. We will enjoy an impressive view of the Sacred Valley.
Then we will continue walking downhill for approximately 2 hours until we reach the town of Lamay. Here, our transportation will be waiting for us to return to Cusco.
