City Tour + Night Experience

Important:

• Our “Quality of Experience” team will contact the pax or travel agency one day before the tour to reconfirm the pick-up times (between 18h00 to 19h00).
• The tour starts with the pick up from the door of your hotel (historic center of Cusco) and ends at Plaza Regocijo or Plaza San Francisco.
• For remote areas or Airbnb, we agree on a meeting point.

What is the itinerary for City Tour + Night Experience?

According to the selected schedule, we will pick you up at the door of your hotel (in the city center of Cusco) or we can meet at the main square of Cusco.

• Visit to Qoricancha: Our meeting will be at the main square and the tour starts at the Temple of Qoricancha, which translates from Quechua as the temple of the sun.
• Visit to Sacsayhuaman: Next, we will visit the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, one of the most emblematic constructions of the Incas, from where we will be able to appreciate a privileged view of almost the entire city.
• Visit to Qenqo: We will continue to Qenqo, an archaeological complex of mainly ceremonial – astronomical use.
• Visit to Puca Pucara: We will visit Puca Pucara, which was a fortress for military use with multiple environments, squares, baths, aqueducts, walls and towers.
• Visit to Tambomachay: We will visit Tambomachay, an archaeological site with water channels made of carved stone that was possibly dedicated to the worship of water.
• 17.30 Astronomical experience: At the end of the city tour, we will take you to Hacienda Llaullipata, where we will enjoy a unique astronomical experience. For one hour, you will receive a talk about the stars in Inca times. Then, you will have the opportunity to observe the stars through telescopes. Finally, we will access a dome where we will explain the importance of the stars in different cultures.

22h30 approx. We arrive at the historic center of Cusco and thus culminate the City Tour Cusco.
