Salkantay Trek 05 Days and 04 Nights

It is a hike easily accessible to all, without limitations or permits required (at least for the moment), next to the town of Mollepata, Cusco with Machu Picchu, and Salkantay Trek are ancient treasures and off the traditional route located in the same area, such as the Inca Trail, where you can observe large snow-capped icy mountains that conjugate with the abundant rainforest.

The name of this mountain of Salkantay Trek is a contraction that comes from Salqa, which means sullen, wild, and Antay, which means to produce cloudscapes or avalanches. This is an alternative route to the Inca Trail; for those who did not get spaces, we have considered this route as one of the best alternatives because, throughout this journey, we can appreciate the flora, fauna, and tranquility that one needs to reflect and be in contact with nature around us.

The Salkantay Mountain is 6,450 meters above sea level, and Machu Picchu is 2,250 meters above sea level.
