Itinerary
09:30 hrs: We will pick up our passengers, and then go with the mobility, for approximately 2 hours, to the train station of Ollantaytambo.
Noon: We arrive at the train station and then board the train that will take us to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu). The trip will last approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. During the trip, we will be able to appreciate the beautiful landscapes of the Andes Mountains and the traditional villages that are located at the foot of the Urubamba or Wilcamayu River throughout the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
14:45 hrs: We will arrive at the town of Aguas Calientes. Here our guide will be waiting for us, then head to the hotel, have free time to visit the town of Aguas Calientes and the thermal baths of the same name.
The night before your rest you will receive a briefing from our guide about the tour to Machu Picchu that we will do the next day and prepare for the guided tour.
06:00 hrs: We will pick you up and take you to the bus station to go up to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Here we will start our 2 hours guided tour around the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu. We will visit the most important places of the Sanctuary such as the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sundial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Royal Cemeteries, and much more. Then we will have free time to continue exploring, take the best pictures, and enjoy the scenery around us. At a convenient time, we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes. We will have the afternoon to have lunch at leisure, visit the thermal baths or stroll through the village and visit the handicraft market.
18:30 hrs: We will take the train back to Ollantaytambo train station. This trip takes about 2 hours. Then, we will continue with the bus trip that will bring you back to the city of Cusco, around 22:30 hrs.
