¿Por qué amarás el Humantay Lake Full Day?

Itinerario

Visit the famous Humantay Lake in a full day tour, because this lagoon was worshiped by the Andean communities. It is also considered the third most popular tourist attraction in Cusco, after Machu Picchu and the Seven Colors Mountain.

The snow-capped Salkantay is part of the Vilcabamba mountain range and gives rise to the formation of this incredible lagoon, which is fed by the glaciers of the mountain. This lagoon is located in the province of Anta and represents a perfect alternative for those travelers who wish to enjoy nature and the landscape at the foot of a snow-capped mountain.

The best time of the year to visit this natural wonder is between May and October. During this time, the weather will be radiant and you can enjoy the sun’s rays reflecting on the turquoise waters. A true spectacle for the eyes of those who appreciate it.

The road to the Humantay Lagoon begins in the town of Soraypampa, from there, you will undertake a walk of about an hour and a half. Along the way, you will be able to see the entire panorama of snow-capped mountains and the great diversity of flora and fauna. The hike to the natural site is not difficult, you just need to acclimatize yourself to the climate of the region. We assure you that the effort will have a wonderful reward once you arrive at your destination.
