Itinerario
Machu Picchu Peru Tours presents the following tour for people who wish to live another kind of experience in their visit to the archaeological sites of Maras-Moray on ATVs.
Day 1: Cusco – Moray – Maras
To start with the tour we have two options of schedule: the first one that starts at 6:00 a.m. and the other one that starts at 1:00 p.m.
We start this adventure with the respective pick up from your hotel in our tourist transport in Cusco to go by the unpaved road to the Andenes de Moray, center of Inca agricultural experimentation. After the visit to Moray, to the town of Maras from where you can see the Cordillera de Urubamba and the snow-capped mountains VERONICA and CHICON.
On the way we will be able to appreciate incredible landscapes of the Peruvian highlands, as well as Andean animals and flora.
At the end of our ATV tour we will descend to the salt mines better known as SALINERAS DE MARAS in our transport. In the salt mines you can be part of the tasting of chocolate with salt, and its different combinations with products of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, to finally take our transport back to the city of CUSCO.

- Long pants, we do not recommend wearing jeans.

- Money in soles and not in dollars since exchange rates are very low.

How much is the entrance fee to Moray?
Moray are inside the tourist ticket and it is mandatory to buy it to enter (the cost of the general ticket is 130 soles and the partial ticket is 70 soles which is valid for 2 days).
Where is Moray located?
Moray is located about 7 kilometers from Maras, within the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and 38 kilometers northeast of Cusco.
How to enter Maras?
The entrance to the salt mines of Maras costs 7 Peruvian soles that you can pay at the ticket office of the same place, its entrance is not included in the tourist ticket as in the case of Moray.
What is our cancellation policy?
For cancellations made 30 days or less, prior to the travel date, 100% of the tour cost will be forfeited. For cancellations made 31 days or more prior to the travel date, cancellation fees may vary depending on departure and tour. Please consult with our travel agent for specific information.
