Itinerario

03:45 hrs approx. It starts with the pick up from your different accommodations in the city of Cusco (historic center). If your accommodation is located in another area we can coordinate a meeting point.

We travel by tourist transportation to Ollantaytambo in a 1 hour and 45 minutes trip.

06:00 am approx: We will take the train to Machu Picchu with an approximate travel time of 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Our guide will be waiting for you at the Main Square of Aguas Calientes to give you explanations about bus tickets, entrance fees, and all about the Machu Picchu Day Trip.

We will have free time in Aguas Calientes before boarding the bus, to enjoy breakfast and/or use the restrooms.

Consettur. Once regrouped, the transfer will drive us to the station to go up to the Machu Picchu Archaeological Park, the trip will last approximately 35 minutes.

10:00 am approx: will be the scheduled time for our entrance to Machu Picchu.

You will have a guided tour for 2 hours, visiting the main points such as the main square, the urban sector, the circular tower, the sundial, the Inca cemetery, etc.

At the agreed time, we will board the bus to return from Machu Picchu to the town of Aguas Calientes.

Once in Aguas Calientes, we will also have free time to visit the thermal-medicinal baths or the new circuit of the Stone Chronicles on your own.

6:00 pm approx: We will board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our transfer will be waiting for us to return to Cusco.

22:45 pm approx : We will arrive at Plaza San Francisco in Cusco.

  • Train schedules may vary according to availability and/or changes of the train company.
  • A minimum of 48 hours is required to book this tour.
  • The earlier you book, the better train schedules and entrance fees to Machu Picchu we can arrange.
  • The excursion is conducted in two languages: English and Spanish.
  • Level of demand: It does not require a high physical level, but it does require a good state of health.
  • Shared group service.

Before traveling

  • A light backpack.
  • Light clothing.
  • Resistant footwear, preferably for trekking.
  • Warm clothes and rain gear, in case it is the season.
    Sun block.
  • Your own medical kit with any special medication you may need.
    Cash - preferably in local currency and low denomination.
